"The Case for adoption"
The Times commissioned a report by Martin Narey (cheif executive of Barnardo's) on adoption. One of the questions he was asked to consider was "Why is it...that while the number of parents wanting to adopt is growing (and the number of children in care increasing), the number of successful adoptions is falling?" (Times July 5th, 2011)
In the report Narey produced it advocates a range of suggestions to radically increase the number of adoptions in England and the rest of the United Kingdom.
